When we over-tonicize (clench) the RA (sixpack) muscle, we cannot breathe diaphragmatically. This leads to or exacerbates hundreds of health issues, including anxiety, asthma, chronic fatigue and vocal issues.
I believe it will be many many generations before the value of pulmonary therapy (and the fact that the most important part of pulmonary thereapy is NOT fucussed on the lungs, but on the diaphragm) is understood as one of the most important medical interventions toward overall mental and physical health.
