The Anxiety Cycle.
Our mind spins out of control. 👉 This tightens our muscles and fascia. 👉 We then notice our supposed lack of space for choice. 👉 We have the thought that we are anxious which creates a belief system, 👉 which leads to more anxiety.
It takes a lot of energy to spin wheels at 160 mph. This energy can be transmuted through imagination, creativity and expression. Expression is created on the exhale. A healthy exhale can stop a panic attack in its tracks.
So focus on what you are doing and only on what you are doing. Inhale into your belly. Exhale and wait. Inhale into your pelvic floor. Now exhale and wait even longer. Rinse. Repeat.
Run, dance, play, yoga and sing. 💛💙
Oh. And breathe through your nose as much as possible. 👃🏼
